My Story
I am Arlene S. K. Skeete, founder of Meridian Wisdom Haven, with a diverse background in healthcare and human services, where I have served in multiple roles over the years. My experience includes certifications in health and wellness, art, and business, along with prior certifications as an EMT and Home Health Aide. I have also spent 16 years working in security, developing strong awareness, discipline, and crisis response skills.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science, along with training in graphic design, freelance writing (fiction and non-fiction), and marketing. I am certified in life coaching and pastoral counseling, and I am currently near completion of my Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. My background also includes experience as a youth pastor and teacher, where I guided and supported others in their personal and spiritual development.
At the core of my work is a deep commitment to helping others. I have developed a strong intuitive awareness and the ability to help individuals reconnect with their inner balance and clarity. My approach blends coaching, spiritual guidance, creative expression, and therapeutic practices such as meditation, music-based relaxation, and scent-centered experiences.
I enjoy writing, spoken word, the creative arts, and exploring subjects like science, history, and anthropology. These passions influence the way I connect with others—bringing both grounded understanding and creative insight into every interaction.
